Sometimes bad things happen to good people.

Sometimes they happen to us.

And sometimes, when bad things happen, a person finds within himself
the beauty and strength to go on, to break free. And then that person,
knowing there are others out there just like him, somewhere, creates a
work of art so powerful, so poignant, that all are drawn to it. But
only the ones who share his pain, know the torment of mind, body, and
soul that he experienced himself, only those select few can see the truth
hidden within that masterpiece.

The wonderful thing about symbolic imagery is that everyone sees something
different when they watch. What you get out of Adolescence of Utena depends
wholly on what you know; what you have experienced. If you see the hidden
