If you've never heard of it before, it can sound a little weird, or even frightening. It is Live-Action Role Play (or LARP), and it's best described as improvisational theatre based on the fictional universe and characters created by White Wolf Studios.
Currently The Camarilla Fanclub runs an interconnected LARP game that spans at least 10 countries on 5 continents. Members have access to an ongoing, continuous, world-wide game, which means that they can take part in an impromptu play that takes place simultaneously all over the world. Actions in the local game can affect the storyline in other cities, states, and even other countries.
But it's not just about play-acting and pretend. As a club, we host many non-gaming social activities such as picnics and movies nights. In addition, as a group of concerned citizens who care about our community, we come together to support local charities by donating service, needed items, and even money.
